The main feature of Financial Services is the Center For Family Prosperity (CFP). This is a collaboration of the City of Gainesville, Hall County Government, Brenau University and the United Way of Hall County and it is designed to help working families improve their financial position.
This program offers:
- Free income tax preparation for low-to moderate income taxpayers by Brenau University VITA Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program with the help of IRS certified volunteers at the Gainesville-Hall Community Service Center.
Volunteers are needed during the tax season to assume different roles. Training will start early December.
