GAINESVILLE, Ga. (Jan. 8, 2024) – The Vault at The National is Gainesville’s newest event 1920s Art Deco-inspired venue specializing in weddings, galas, corporate events and meetings.
"You will find us on the corner of Green and Washington [streets], located in the historic Walton Jackson Building," states Director of Sales Lauren Nicholson. Q: When did your business open and where? If your business has operated at other locations, please list those.
A: We opened on Aug. 10, 2023. No other locations.
Q: How long have you been operating on the historic square in downtown Gainesville?
A: Since Aug. 10, 2023, [so roughly five months].
Q: What drew you to operate your business in downtown Gainesville?
A: Alongside the brand new Courtyard by Marriott and The National apartments, The Vault was the third piece to the puzzle, providing the community with options to live, stay and party!
Q: What kinds of products and/or services does your business offer to the public?
A: We offer private parties and events.
Q: Can you give some examples of unique products and/or services you offer that aren’t easily replicated elsewhere in town?
A: The Vault provides a unique experience unlike any venue in the area. We focus on creating intimate experiences that live with people forever. With that, the space also pays homage to the former First National Bank with details you will find throughout the space that allows you to go back in time.
Q: What offerings are you most proud of and why? Give us the scoop!
A: We are proud to be able to craft any experience that fits one's vision that other venues may see as a challenge.
Q: Do you target a specific audience? If so, can you please specify?
A: Our audience is very broad as we host all types of events such as weddings, birthdays, corporate meetings, cocktail tastings, retirements and celebration of life events.
Q: If you aim to target everyone, can you please explain how and through what products and/or services?
A: Our incredible catering menu provides variety to fit everyone’s taste and style, as well as the capability to customize anything.
Q: What is your favorite “must try” item you offer and why?
A: You cannot go wrong with one of Chef’s Lina Filet Mignon topped with a wild mushroom ragout.
Q: In your own words, what makes your business a positive addition to the downtown cityscape?
A: We are thrilled to offer a place for people to host special and private moments just steps away from the booming Gainesville square.
