UPDATE (1 p.m. Nov. 17) – The City of Gainesville is pleased to share paving has been partially completed, and the parking lot and boat ramp on the tower side of Lake Lanier Olympic Park (LLOP) will reopen Saturday, Nov. 18.
Unfortunately, visitors should plan for parking on the boathouse side of LLOP to remain unavailable through the weekend.
The City continues to thank you for your patience during this progress as LLOP works to maximize parking and traffic flow at the venue.

GAINESVILLE, Ga. (Nov. 8, 2023) – To allow for repaving at Lake Lanier Olympic Park (LLOP), the City of Gainesville has closed both parking lots on either side of Clarks Bridge Road.
This closure includes parking at the boathouse and tower, as well as the boat ramp on the tower side.
LLOP staff anticipate the closure will last several days, likely through mid next week, though updates regarding the repaving schedule will be shared when available.
