GAINESVILLE, Ga. (July 24, 2023) – Cleveland Highway (state Route 11) between Clarks Bridge Road and Limestone Parkway remains closed to through traffic 24 hours a day, seven days a week for at least the next week.
The road closure, which took effect Monday, July 17, will allow for extension of sanitary sewer to Atlanta Botanical Garden - Gainesville. At the project's start, work was projected to take one to two weeks.
Detours through Clarks Bridge Road and Limestone Parkway are clearly marked.
Those navigating the area are urged to drive carefully, and watch for construction workers and equipment.
