GAINESVILLE, Ga. (July 17, 2023) – Starting Monday, July 17, Cleveland Highway (state Route 11) between Clarks Bridge Road and Limestone Parkway will be closed to through traffic from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. daily for the next one to two weeks. Only emergency, fire and police vehicles responding to calls are allowed through.
The road closure will allow for extension of sanitary sewer to Atlanta Botanical Garden - Gainesville.
Detours through Clarks Bridge Road and Limestone Parkway are clearly marked.
Those navigating the area are urged to drive carefully, and watch for construction workers and equipment during this time.
