UPDATE (June 6, 2023) – Work has been completed early. The road has been reopened.
GAINESVILLE, Ga. (June 2, 2023) – East Ridge Road from Purina Drive to Athens Street will close from approximately 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily Monday-Thursday, June 5-8.
The closure will allow the Gainesville Department of Water Resources to complete storm drain repair.
Drivers should use Patterson and Purina drives as detours.
Those navigating the area are urged to drive carefully, and watch for construction workers and equipment during this time.
