DWR to release 2022 Drinking Water Quality Report June 1

GAINESVILLE, Ga. (May 19, 2023) – The Gainesville Department of Water Resources (DWR) is on track to release Thursday, June 1, the 2022 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report, which contains results from 2022 calendar year testing of the City of Gainesville’s drinking water system.

It should be noted the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency adopted new rules allowing water providers to distribute the annual reports electronically. Customers received a bill insert with their May billing statement notifying them of the report's availability on the City website (gainesville.org). The insert advises customers if they wish to have a paper copy of the report mailed to them, they can call the number below.

Hard copies of the report will be available at the following City offices after June 1:

• City Manager’s Office: 300 Henry Ward Way, Suite 303, Gainesville (Gainesville Administration Building)

• DWR: drive-thru window at 757 Queen City Parkway, Gainesville

• DWR Environmental Services Office: 2641 Old Flowery Branch Road, Gainesville
