GAINESVILLE, Ga. (April 5, 2023) – Keeping pets and senior citizens together is just one of the many ways Gainesville-Hall County Meals on Wheels helps our aging neighbors feel less alone.
In recognition of Georgia Cities Week April 23-29, the City of Gainesville is hosting a pet food drive April 3-28 benefitting cats and dogs belonging to beloved Meals on Wheels clients.
Donations of dry cat and dog foods help ensure every member of Meals on Wheels client families are well nourished and cared for. Any and all contributions are greatly appreciated and help ensure no pet goes hungry.
Deliver bagged food and treats from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday through April 28 at any one of the following drop-off locations:

About Georgia Cities Week
In 2023, Georgia Cities Week will be observed April 23-29. Sponsored by the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA), one of the goals of Georgia Cities Week is for communities to connect residents with one another.
