GAINESVILLE, Ga. (March 7, 2023) – Keeping pets and senior citizens together is just one of the many ways Gainesville-Hall County Meals on Wheels helps our aging neighbors feel less alone.

In recognition of Georgia Cities Week April 23-29, the City of Gainesville is hosting a pet food drive April 3-28 benefitting cats and dogs belonging to beloved Meals on Wheels clients. However, there will be an opportunity to contribute early at Mutts on Main, slated for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, March 25, on the historic square in downtown Gainesville by dropping donations off at the Main Street tent.

Donations of dry cat and dog foods help ensure every member of Meals on Wheels client families are well nourished and cared for. Any and all contributions are greatly appreciated and help ensure no pet goes hungry.

After Mutts on Main, deliver bagged food and treats from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday through April 28 at any one of the following drop-off locations:
