GAINESVILLE, Ga. (Dec. 8, 2021) – Registration is now open for Gainesville Parks and Recreation's spring youth leagues. Next up are Pee Wee Basketball on December 30 and Youth Baseball & Softball on January 14.
Pee Wee Basketball is for ages 3 to 5 and is a friendly, instructional and non-competitive program offered in January on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 5 p.m. at Enota Elementery School.
Youth baseball offers leagues for ages 5 to 14 and softball leagues ages 7 to 12. Registration ends January 14, 2022 and game play will be begin early February and continue until mid-May at area parks including City Park, Lanier Point Athletic Complex and Candler Field.
