GAINESVILLE, Ga. (Aug. 9, 2021) – The 2021 season of Food Truck Friday continues this week, Aug. 13, at Lake Lanier Olympic Park.

Come hungry from 5-9 p.m. and indulge in a generous lineup of food, beverage and dessert trucks, plus live entertainment and more.

“The 2021 Food Truck Friday series has been more successful than we ever could’ve imagined,” said Lake Lanier Olympic Park Special Events Manager Eric Larsen. “Residents and visitors are definitely taking advantage of every excuse to get out, enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, as well as one another’s company. You get all these things at Food Truck Friday, plus beer, wine and good eats – and don’t forget dessert!"

The following food trucks are expected at the August event: Tap It Growlers, offering beer and wine; Downtown Drafts, also offering beer and wine; Mutt & Jeff's Smokehouse, offering fresh-brewed sweet tea and loaded barbecue nachos; Paw Paw's Peanuts, offering fresh-squeezed lemonade and hot boiled peanuts; Talmo Market Grill, offering hand-pattied burgers made with grass-fed Talmo Ranch beef; All Around The World, offering world fare; Kajun Asian, bringing Creole Cajun Asian fusion to North Georgia; Dot Bowl, offering Korean barbecue with their famous fire meat; Island Chef Cafe, offering a taste of the Bahamas; At The Tracks Restaurant, offering a casual atmosphere with gourmet food; Juke N Jive Creamery, offering creamy, melt-in-your-mouth scoops of ice cream; Fairly Local Cupcakes, offering gourmet cupcakes and muffins; Snowie Atlanta, offering shaved ice and mini hot donuts; and King of Pops, offering frozen treats made using fresh ingredients and interesting flavor combinations.

Ivan Duke and Friends will take the stage from 6-9 p.m. to energize the crowd, getting them on their feet and dancing to the beat.

Additional vendors will include Explore Gainesville, offering Gainesville-branded freebies and merch available for purchase; American Boat Brokers; Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club; Lake Lanier Rowing Club; Rugged Axe Throwing Co.; SunHeist Eyewear; Hall County Library System; Safe Kids Northeast Georgia and Watkins Total Healthcare.
