GWR to release 2021 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report May 30

GAINESVILLE, Ga. (April 27, 2021) – Gainesville Water Resources is on track to release Sunday, May 30, the 2021 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report, which contains results from 2020 testing of the City of Gainesville’s drinking water system.

It should be noted the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency adopted new rules allowing water providers to distribute the annual reports electronically. Customers will receive a bill insert with their May billing statement notifying them of the report's availability on the City website (gainesville.org). The insert advises customers if they wish to have a paper copy of the report mailed to them, they can call the number below.

Hard copies of the report will be available at the following City offices after May 30*:

• City Manager’s Office: 300 Henry Ward Way, Gainesville (Gainesville Administration Building)

• Department of Water Resources: drive-thru window at 757 Queen City Parkway, Gainesville

• Environmental Services Office: 2641 Old Flowery Branch Road, Gainesville

A friendly reminder, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the City continues to encourage visitors to wear masks and practice social distancing.
