Join the City of Gainesville, Georgia in celebrating Georgia Cities Week by participating in a community blood drive from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, April 24, just outside the Gainesville Administration Building in downtown Gainesville.

LifeSouth will be on site in one of its signature red, white and blue bloodmobiles parked on Henry Ward Way (you can't miss it!). Blood collected will stay in the Gainesville-Hall County community as LifeSouth strives to Give Local, Save Local!

This event is open to the public, to include City staff, passersby, employees and customers of businesses in the area of the historic square, Solis Gainesville residents, Hall County Courthouse staff, etc.

The admin building is located at 300 Henry Ward Way, Gainesville, in between the Hall County Courthouse and Historic Gainesville City Hall. Find free and convenient parking at either the Main Street Parking Deck, 301 Main St.; or Hall County Parking Facility, 225 Green St. SE, both located within walking distance to the bloodmobile.

About Georgia Cities Week

In 2023, Georgia Cities Week will be observed April 23-29. Sponsored by the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA), one of the goals of Georgia Cities Week is for communities to connect residents with one another. Through this blood drive, the City hopes to connect donors' contributions to locals in need of the safest and highest quality blood components.
