Oh, what fun it is to ride ... on the Holly Jolly Trolley!

The Holly Jolly Trolley returns this holiday season to connect City of Gainesville residents and visitors with the historic square, home of award-winning growlers and tasting rooms, restaurants and retailers; and Wilshire Wonderland of Lights, an annual holiday offering at Wilshire Trails Park hosted by Gainesville Parks & Recreation.

Hours

Starting Saturday, Nov. 25, the Holly Jolly Trolley will run from 5-10 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday through Saturday, Dec. 30. Please note the Holly Jolly Trolley will be unavailable Friday, Dec. 22, when the City of Gainesville observes the Christmas holiday.

Route

The Holly Jolly Trolley will make a continuous 3-mile loop between the historic square in downtown Gainesville to Gainesville Parks & Recreation's Wilshire Wonderland of Lights display at Wilshire Trails Park. Riders should have access to the Holly Jolly Trolley every 10-15 minutes. Review the map here.

Where to park/board

Park at either one of the parking decks below, then walk to 106 Spring St. (in front of Kilwins) to board the Holly Jolly Trolley. Ride the route as long as you want just make sure you're at the right end of the route before service stops at 10 p.m.

  • Main Street Parking Deck, located at 301 Main St. (Must board trolley at 106 Spring St. in front of Kilwins)
  • Gainesville North Parking Deck, located at 100 Brenau Ave. NW across from the Hall County Library (Must board trolley at 106 Spring St. in front of Kilwins)
