The Planning and Appeals Board (PAB) was created in November 1997. This Board evolved from the combination of the former Planning Commission and the former Zoning Board of Adjustment. The PAB consists of seven members appointed by the City Council for two-year staggered terms. All terms expire on November 30th of their respective year. The PAB makes recommendations to the City Council on:
Annexations, re-zonings, zoning amendments, special uses
Road naming or renaming
Site plan approvals
Code amendments
The PAB has final action on any requests for variances and appeals of administrative decisions.
