Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. on the banks of Lake Sidney Lanier, Chattahoochee Golf Club has been one of the premier public golf courses in Northeast Georgia since 1960. Built on 183 acres of rolling farmland with large undulating greens averaging 7,000 square feet, the course design allows for easy walking, and is enjoyable for both scratch and high-handicap golfers.
Resulting from major renovations completed in October 2021, the TifEagle Bermuda course contours have been softened to allow multiple hole locations. The renovation by golf architect Bill Bergin also restored the course to Jones's original design.
