The Consumer Confidence Report on Water Quality for 2011 is now being delivered to customers of Gainesville Public Utilities. Customers who have signed up for paperless billing will receive an electronic version of the report. The CCR will also be available on the City Website at www.gainesville.org (Public Utilities) or by calling 770-532-7462.
The report is being mailed to approximately 43,000 utility customers in
Gainesville-HallCounty. Copies of the report are also available at the
Customer Service Office at the Public Utilities Department
AdministrationBuildingon Queen City Parkway, the Planning
Department, the City Manager’s Office and the Public Utilities
Director’s Office. Copies of the report will be available soon in Spanish.
Horace Gee, Gainesville Environmental Services Administrator, said
the Consumer Confidence Report is an annual update to the customers
of the City of Gainesville's drinking water system. “The Gainesville Service
area covers approximately 500 square miles. The water system serves a
customer base of approximately 46,000 customers with an estimated
135,000 users. We are proud to share this information with our customers
and would be happy to answer questions at any time,” said Gee.
