We are Georgia’s “Official Chicken Cook-Off” and our number one rule is to have fun!” Reed said. Unlimited sampling will be provided by the teams for the public to do their own judging and choose a “People’s Choice” award. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children under 10. Children under 5 are free! The cook-off will take place in the downtown parking lot at the corner of Spring and Main Streets and in the Hall County Courthouse Annex parking lot. The festival will also include the Rubber ChickEkiden, a Chicken Feathers Quilt Show in the Georgia Mountains Center and Children’s Activities in Roosevelt Square provided by the Interactive Neighborhood for Kids.
