Saturday Community Market April 2

Starting Saturday April 2, the Senior Life Center will debut the first of its kind Saturday Community Market designed specifically for local crafters and their customers.  Phillippa Lewis Moss, Director of the Gainesville Hall County Community Service Center says, “There are so many talented crafters in our community who have no way of displaying or selling their goods. This is the perfect place for locals to gather.” In addition to crafters, ladies from the Sunshine Sister group will sell locally grown fruits and vegetables. Senior Life Center Coordinator, Merry Howard, says, “We think the center, with its ample parking and large open meeting area, is the perfect place for people to come and shop for the unique gifts or household gadgets.”

The community market will take place the first Saturday of each month from 8:00am to 12noon at the Senior Life Center located at 434 Prior Street SE (corner of Jesse Jewell and Prior Street).  Vendors can rent a craft table indoors for $25 or pay $15 for two parking spaces outdoors.  For more information contact Merry Howard at 770.503.3330.
