Softball Complex is one of the premier athletic facilities
in the Southeast. Each year, the 96-acre complex serves
almost 15,000 players and approximately 70,000 spectators. View

Gainesville Parks and Recreation welcomes dogs on leashes in our parks. However dogs, bicycles, tricycles, roller skates, skateboards, roller blades, or scooters are not allowed inside Lanier Point Softball Complex.
Tournament Information
All tournaments are association sanctioned and are
double elimination. Teams must show proof of sanction
or pay sanction fee at tournament to be eligible. Please
do not ask for first round byes. Out of town teams will
be given late starting times whenever possible.
Entry Deadline
5:00 PM - Wednesday prior to the scheduled tournament
starting date.

Hit your own association-approved balls in tournament
play. Balls will be available for sale at the complex.

Directions to Lanier Point Softball
Complex
From the Dalton, Georgia
Area Take I-75 South to Canton, Exit on Hwy. 20.
Take Hwy. 20 East to GA 369. Take 369 to intersection
of 369 & 306. Turn left on Hwy. 306. Follow 306
TO GA 53. Turn right on GA 53 toward Gainesville. Go
approximately 5 miles. The road becomes a four lane
divided highway. After the road becomes a four-lane
go to the first traffic light and take a right onto
Lanier Valley Road. This will dead-end into Lanier Point
Park.
From Atlanta
Take I-85 North to Suwanee. Turn left onto I-985.
Go to Exit 20, turn left onto Queen City Parkway. Queen
City Parkway will cross Jesse Jewell Parkway and become
John Morrow Parkway. Stay on John Morrow and follow
out of town. You will pass McDonald's on your left.
There will be a BP Station on the right. Turn left onto
Lanier Valley Road. This will dead-end into Lanier Point
Park.
From Greenville, S.C.
Take I-85 South to Jefferson, Georgia. Exit at US 129.
Turn right onto US 129 North. This will take you into
Gainesville. When you get into Gainesville, turn left
at the Best Western Lanier Centre Hotel onto Jesse Jewell
Parkway. Follow Jesse Jewell to John Morrow Parkway.
Turn right onto John Morrow Parkway. You will pass a
McDonald's on your left. There will be a BP Station
on the right. Turn left onto Lanier Valley Road. This
will dead-end into Lanier Point Park.
From Birmingham, Ala.
Take I-20 East to Atlanta. Before you get to Atlanta,
take I-285 toward Chattanooga. Follow I-285 to GA 400.
Take GA 400 North to Exit 17 (Hwy. 306). Turn right
on Hwy. 306. Go straight for about 8 miles until you
dead-end into GA 53. Turn right onto Hwy. 53. Go until
the road becomes a divided four-lane highway. After
the road divides go to the first traffic light and turn
right onto Lanier Valley Road. This will dead-end into
Lanier Point Park.
