Outdoor Watering Update

Reports of a slight drought in North Georgia have water conservation
officials reminding the community of current water restrictions.
Jennifer Flowers, Gainesville Water Conservation Specialist, today
encouraged customers of the Gainesville-Hall County water system to
be mindful of the latest outdoor watering guidelines. “We just want to
remind everyone that outdoor landscape watering is only allowed
between the hours of 4pm and 10am. All other outdoor water use
(such as washing cars or power washing) may occur at any time of the
Day, but is restricted to three days a week on assigned days using the
odd/even system. Odd numbered addresses can use water outdoors
on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Even numbered addresses
can use water outdoors on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays,”
Flowers said.
