Outdoor Adventure
Level 1 Archery
Ages 10 and older
This ten week course is designed for beginner archers. Participants will be taught fundamentals of both recurve and compound bows.
Participants will shoot from 5, 10, and 15 meters with a nd without releases or finger tabs for each respective bow. Finally, participants will also be introduced to elements of 3D archery and FITA shooting.
***Students are not required to bring their own equipment. If students would like to bring their own equipment, it must be inspected and approved by the instructor.***

Level 2 Archery
Ages 10 and older
This particular course is designed for intermediate archers. Intermediate archers are archers who might have shot in the past for teams or as individuals. For this course, participants will shoot from distances of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 meters. Instruction includes use of sights for both recurve and compound bows and all ancillary equipment such as releases and finger tabs.
***Students are not required to bring their own equipment. If students would like to bring their own equipment, it must be inspected and approved by the instructor.***

Intro to Rock Climbing
Ages 10 and older
The purpose of this program is to provide an opportunity to individuals who are curious about the sport of rock climbing. The program consists of a one day visit to Adrenaline Climbing in Suwannee, GA. Registered participants will meet a full time staff member at the Gainesville Civic Center, and will be transported in a city van to Adrenaline Climbing. Once there, participants will be educated about the basics of rock
climbing, and will have the opportunity to climb in the indoor facility.
