The City's Human Resources and Risk Management Group exists to support, guide and maintain a positive, safe, and challenging work environment for our employees. We seek to develop an outstanding work force through effective employee recruiting and training and to provide a competitive compensation and benefits program to ensure the City of Gainesville can attract, retain, and motivate a skilled and knowledgeable employee base. Our group promotes fair and equitable treatment of all employees using effective grievance procedures and delivers safety programming to reduce or eliminate safety hazards for our employees and our residents.
