Gainesville Police Reaccredited

The Gainesville Police Department is proud to announce their reaccreditation of the agency by the Commission for Law Enforcement Agencies Inc. (C.A.L.E.A.). C.A.L.E.A. unanimously voted this past Saturday, March 23, 2013 in Charleston, South Carolina to reaccredit the agency for the 7th overall time.
CALEA reaccreditation award is for three (3) years and the agency is required to maintain continuous compliance during the award period; furthermore, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence in policy and procedure practice.
We are extremely proud of attaining this award. We will continue to ensure that our citizens are safe and work continuously to build positive relationships with our community.
