16th Annual Butterfly Release
Butterflies Galore!
Food, Fun & More.
Presented by Friends of Gainesville Parks and Greenways
When: Sunday, May 20, 2012
Time: 1pm-4pm
Butterflies will be released at 3pm rain or shine.
Where: Wilshire Trails Park
Corner of Wilshire Trails Road at the end of Pearl Nix Parkway in Gainesville, Georgia.
Event Information: Free and No Charge to Release Butterflies
The event is free and open to the public. Food, drinks and t-shirts for sale.
Free Childrens Activities: Paper Sailboat Races, Face Painting, Playground
At 3:00 pm, every child in attendance will receive an envelope with a Painted Lady Butterfly to release.
Parking is free, and shuttles will run from Gainesville High School and Woods Mill Academy (former Gainesville Middle School).
