Annual Butterfly Release
Sunday, May 17, 2015
Time: 1:00-4:00pm
FREE EVENT!

Location: Wilshire Trails Park, off of Pearl Nix Parkway in Gainesville, GA.

Free Shuttle Service from Gainesville High School, Woods Mill and Centennial.


All children will receive a butterfly to release at 3:00 pm at the pavilion.
1,500 Painted Lady Butterflies will take flight!  
Other Free Activities: Facepainting and Paper Sailboat Races
Concessions and T-shirts for sale.

IN CASE OF RAIN: JOIN US AT THE PAVILION AT 3PM TO RELEASE THE BUTTERFLIES.

Friends of Gainesville Parks & Greenways, Inc. is a non-profit organization. Our mission is to serve as a cultural, educational, and recreational resource  to develop, beautify, maintain, restore and preserve passive and active leisure pursuits in Gainesville, Hall County.
