Message from the Director

Although Gainesville Public Utilities continues to expand at a rapid pace we are constantly trying to find ways to keep up with the demands of this growth and at the same time keep rates and charges as low as possible for you, our customers.
Of significant interest is the recent completion of our state of the art laboratory facilities and an agreement between Gainesville and Hall County to provide sanitary sewer service to South Hall County. This will be the largest construction project ever undertaken by the utility, exclusive of our treatment plants.
