Message from the Director
Thank you for visiting the Planning and Development Department’s web page. We hope you find our page easy to navigate and are able to locate the information you are seeking. The Planning Department serves the community by assisting citizens with all aspects of land development. The department administers the Unified Land Development Code; and implements land use policies as outlined in the Comprehensive Plan. Specifically, the department is charged with assisting the public in zoning and land use matters, processing zoning, historic preservation and other land development applications, as well as issuing land disturbance permits.
