Event Definitions
One performance shall not exceed a maximum period of six hours, ending no later than 12 midnight and 1 a.m. for dances. One event day shall not exceed a maximum period of 12 hours, including move in and move out. Time used after contracted limits shall be $50.00 per hour, plus applicable personnel fees. Rates are based on a "four wall" policy and include heat/air conditioning, lighting, and water. These rates do not include special personnel or equipment.

Reservation of Facilities
The Georgia Mountains Center will tentatively reserve dates for a period of up to seven (7) days. At that time, the Tenant must either confirm the date with a deposit and signed contract or release the date. A date is not considered confirmed until the Tenant has submitted the required deposit and signed contract to the Georgia Mountains Center office. Deposits for dates are not refundable.

Deposits and Rental Payments
A deposit of one-half the base rent is required at the time a lease is executed. An additional deposit may be required for anticipated advance expenditures. The balance of the rental fee and any additional expenses are due and payable in the office of the Georgia Mountains Center five (5) business days prior to the event.

Insurance
Public liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.00 for injuries sustained by one person, $1,000,000.00 for injuries to two or more persons and $50,000.00 for property damage coverage each occurrence, naming the City of Gainesville, a municipal corporation, as additional insured must be provided by the Lessee. Insurance must cover all move-in and move-out dates.

Business License
Certain retail and wholesale lessees of the Georgia Mountains Center may be required to have a business license. The business license will have a $25.00 fee, per day, for activity in the Georgia Mountains Center only. Contact the Georgia Mountains Center Director for further information.

Public Ticket Sales
The Georgia Mountains Center shall at all times maintain control and direction of the ticket office, ticket personnel and ticket sales revenue until settlement. The Georgia Mountains Center shall provide computerized tickets for Georgia Mountains Center events. Charges for the printing of tickets will vary, and payment for ticket printing is the responsibility of the Lessee.
Charges for Box Office services are 3% of the net box office receipts or $500.00, whichever is greater. All ticket sales are subject to current service charges.

Security
The Georgia Mountains Center requires and will provide at the Lessee's expense, Police Officers for all event related security. Outside security may be allowed under certain circumstances, but must be coordinated with the Georgia Mountains Center Management prior to the event.

Parking
Parking is available in the Georgia Mountains Center parking deck, Main Street parking lot, and downtown parking areas. A $2.00 Parking Fee may be imposed during certain events.

Smoking Policy
Smoking is prohibited within the Center as required by City Ordinances.
