GOLF COURSE RENOVATION
Trees were removed on left side of fairway with two new fairway bunkers added on both sides of fairway. Green complex moved back and to the left approximately 50 yards. First hole will become an easier starting hole than old #1.
Tees elevated and shifted to the right for better visibility and to soften dogleg. Green complex redesigned with bunkers closer to the green. Green complex moved forward 5 yards.
This new short par 3 should test a golfers accuracy that will play slightly downhill to a new green complex located in the woods left of old ladies tee box. Green surface is visible from the tees with a greenside bunkers located short and left of the green.
New tee complex is located at the top of the old dump site. This new hole will become a slight dogleg right with fairway bunkers on both sides of the fairway. Green complex moved 15 yards back for better view of cove off of Club Drive.
Longest par three on the course that measures 225 yards from championship tee. Tees’s elevated and green complex lowered for visibility of green surface. Green moved approximately 15 yards back with bunkers positioned left of the green for playability.
Tees elevated and fairway was saddled out for safety and visibility concerns. Fairway bunker is located 125 yards from the green in right rough. Green moved slightly left for separation from old # 15 Tees. Green complex moved 5 yards back with two greenside bunkers protecting the left hand side of green.
This is the longest par 4 on the course that will become the # 1 Handicap hole for everyone. This hole will measure 465 yards from the Championship tee. Extensive grading was done to lower and widen fairway with two fairway bunkers added to the right side. Green moved back about 20 yards for a scenic view of Lake Lanier and Lake Knickerbocker. Bunker guards right front on the green.
Tee complexes moved 50 yards forward and to the left. This will eliminate visibility and safety concerns from New # 7. Extensive grading was done to lower fairway and widens left side of fairway for better playability. New green complex was moved back and to the left 75 yards to old # 17 tee complex. This new hole will become a favorite to many golfers with the possibility of birdies and eagles.
Trees were removed on the left side so the tee complex could be elevated and the dogleg softened. Tees moved back and to the left with fairway bunkers added on the left side to keep errant shots from traveling into old # 1 fairway. Green moved forward 25 yards and lowered for safety and visibility. Two greenside bunkers added with small false front for depth perception.
Cart path will turn behind clubhouse with better access to grill. A new Grill counter is installed on the back veranda to expedite orders for players making the turn. This will shorten your turn time with a special window exclusively for players turning to the back nine.
Tees redesigned and elevated slightly. This fairway is widened with a new green complex lowered and shifted 5 yards to the right to soften dogleg. Green will have a small false front for depth perception and a bunker is located on the front right side of the green.
New tee complex is elevated and reposition to the left for visibility. Tees are located on old # 17 green which will allow for the hole to play straight away with a fairway bunker added 50 yards from the green. Green complex shifted left and lower for safety issues from old # 3 tees.
Tees were elevated green moved forward 5 yards. This makes our best par three even better with all of the tees enjoying a view of the green surface. There are three greenside bunkers with two positioned left and one right. Green complex moved 5 yards closer and lowered slightly.
Tees shifted right and all four ponds eliminated down right side for drainage issues. There was extensive grading and tree removal done on the left side of fairway approximately 150 yards from the green. This will improve visibility to the green on your second shot. Rock was blasted on the left side of fairway to move the cart path left.
Green complex moved forward and lower to provide separation from old # 5 tees. Green has a slight false front for depth perception with two bunkers added in front and back.
Tees move forward and green moved 50 yards back and to the left. New green complex provides a scenic view of Lake Knickerbocker with a greenside bunker added to the left side of the green. This easily will become the most scenic approach shot into a green. Enjoy the view before you make the final push to a challenging finish to the clubhouse.
Tees moved slightly left with a fairway bunker added down the left side of the fairway. The green moves slightly forward and to the right for visibility. No major changes to the classic par 5 except a new green and tee complex.
Tees elevated with a slight shift to the right. Trees were removed down the right side to allow for the new green to move 50 yards back and to the right. New green complex will have two bunkers that guard the front of the green that has the best view on the course.
Tees move back up the hill for more elevation to a green that moves 30 yards forward. This is the most elevated shot on the course that will test your distance control. New green complex will be lower with bunker protecting the right and back of the green.
Tees move right to make this long par 4 finishing hole visible from tee to green. Tees are elevated and located in the middle of old # 8 green. Green complex moves left for separation from old # 1 tee. Green is protected by three greenside bunkers with a slight false front. This finishing hole provides a view from an amphitheatre green setting. The entire Clubhouse will have of bird’s eye view of you making that final putt of the day.
