Chief Brian P. Kelly Appointed President of the FBI National Academy Associates
The Executive Board of the Georgia Chapter of the FBI National Academy Associates (GA FBINAA) is proud to announce the appointment of Chief Brian P. Kelly of the Gainesville, Georgia Police Department as its next President. Chief Kelly was sworn into office on Thursday, January 16, 2014, in Macon, Georgia, during the chapter’s annual business meeting.
The Georgia Chapter of the FBINAA consists of over 800 Law Enforcement Executives of the State of Georgia who have been accepted into and successfully graduated from the FBI National Academy’s (FBINA) ten week advanced Law Enforcement Management and Executive Training Course held four times a year at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Chief Kelly attended and graduated from the FBINA’s 217th session in June, 2004. Since his graduation, Chief Kelly has been an active supporter of the program and an active participant in the Georgia Chapter. Chief Kelly states, ” there is no better way for me to give back to an organization that has given me so much, than to serve on its executive board to help establish policy, procedure, and vision for the association to keep the association in the forefront of law enforcement and growing through the 21st century.” Chief Kelly further states “I am extremely honored and humbled to hold this position and I look forward to serving the association and my fellow board members as its president for the next two years.”
