Discovery Day Camp - Ages 6-12

Free Swim Lessons Weekly made possible by United Way of Hall County!
Have a fun-filled summer of plenty of fun games, swim days at Frances Meadows Aquatic Center, themed arts & crafts, movie & popcorn days, weekly field trips, and much more!  

New this year, all campers receive free Red Cross Certified Learn to Swim lessons weekly at no additional charge.

In addition to our 8 week Discovery Day Camp at the Gainesville Middle School, we are offering two new camps for first and last week of the summer when we do not have access to the Gainesville Middle School.

NEW Camp Horizon Ages 6-12 May 26-29

School’s out! What better way to spend your first week of summer break than Camp Horizon. Campers will participate in a wide variety of games and activities to keep them actively engaged the whole day. Activities will include arts and crafts, sports, and other fun group games. With plenty of space for us to explore at City Park and Candler the opportunities are endless.  Bring lunch, snack & water bottle every day. Activities are subject to change due to reasons beyond our control.

NEW Camp Kazoo Ages 6-12 July 27 - 31

The last week of summer is upon us! It’s time to get out the last bit of crazy summer energy. Join us at Camp Kazoo as we have some wild and crazy fun. Campers will participate in a variety of activities from arts and crafts to water games to wacky sports. We will be taking advantage of all of the fields at City Park and Candler to keep your child actively engaged the whole day. It’s sure to be a good time! Bring lunch, snack & water bottle every day. Activities are subject to change due to reasons beyond our control.

Travel Camps

Kids on the Go Travel Camp Ages 6-12 May 26-29

Start off the summer the right way and join us for Kids on the Go Travel Camp! Come travel with us on a fun exciting field trip each day of the week. This week’s field trips include the following: World of Coke, Lunar Mini Golf and Picnic, Stone Mountain, and Zoo Atlanta!  Trips are subject to change due to reasons beyond our control. Campers may be dropped off NO earlier than 8am. Buses will leave promptly at 9am and will return at 4:30pm.  Campers must be picked up no later than 5pm.  Bring lunch, snack & water bottle every day. Register by May 21 at 5pm.

Summer’s End Travel Camp Ages 6-12 July 27-31

It’s time to pack up and hit the road; we’ve got some places to go! Join us for another week full of fun trips to some of our favorite destinations. This week our travels will include: Georgia Aquarium, Stone Mountain, Tree Top Quest, Helen Water Park, and Lunar Mini Golf. Trips are subject to change due to reasons beyond our control. Campers may be dropped off NO earlier than 8am. Buses will leave promptly at 9am and will return at 4:30pm.  Campers must be picked up no later than 5pm.  Bring lunch, snack & water bottle every day. Register by July 23 at 5pm.

Specialty Camps

Princess Camps Ages 4-8  June 1-5 and July 13-17  

This camp is perfect for all the little princesses in the world! Princesses will participate in a variety of activities that will bring their inner princess out. From playing in their own princess castle to getting pampered among other activities, all little princesses are sure to have a good time! Bring snack & water bottle every day. All activities are subject to change. Register by May 28 and July 9 by 5pm.

Vet Camp Ages 6-12 June 1-5; June 15-19 and July 20-24

This popular camp will give campers an insight as to how to care for their favorite furry friends. Campers will have the opportunity to visit various animal hospitals, the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia, Yellow River Game Ranch and more! Bring snack & water bottle every day. Register by May 28, June 11, and July 16 at 5pm.

Outdoor Adventure Camp  Ages 8-12  June 8-12 and July 6-10

Outdoor Adventure Camp is a camp for kids interested in learning about outdoor recreation, or for those kids already passionate about outdoor recreation! This camp will provide campers the opportunity to participate in various fun outdoor activities which include: Hiking, Rock Climbing, Kayaking, Fishing, and more! Bring snack & water bottle every day. All activities are subject to change. Register by June 4 and July 2 at 5pm.

Once Upon a Time Camp  Ages 4-8 June 8-12 and July 20-24

This camp allows campers to tap into their imagination, and capture ideas to share with the world! This camp is focused on storytelling! Campers will have a story time in the park, visit the GHS Warehouse to see how stories can come to life, and will also visit INK to gather some ideas for their very own story! Campers will conclude the week by making their own storybook to share with friends and family! Bring snack & water bottle every day. All activities are subject to change.

The Great Jeffini’s Summer Magic Camp Ages 9-13  June 15-19

This 15 hour introductory course in magic, ventriloquism, balloon sculpting, and puppetry is designed to give the beginner the opportunity to explore a variety of types of magic tricks and performing arts. Over a dozen tricks will be taught and practiced. Campers will also be introduced to the art of ventriloquism, puppetry and balloon sculpting. Campers will assemble a custom magic kit as the week goes on. “Graduation” will include a show by the students for their parents, siblings, and friends.

Teen Camp  Ages 11-14 June 22-26 and July 13-17

Need something for your teen to do? Is he or she too old for other camps? Bring them to Teen Camp! Teen Camp will provide those older kids with an afternoon camp of their own filled with various fun experiences! Examples of activities will include rock climbing, laser tag, bowling, and more! Bring snack & water bottle. Register by June 18 and July 9 at 5pm.

Chef Camp  Ages 6-12  Jun 22-26 and July 6-10

Put on your aprons and chef hats, it’s time to cook! Chef Camp will give campers the opportunity to learn what it takes to operate a restaurant as we visit local favorites to check out real chef’s kitchens. They will get behind the scenes looks on how to make classic dishes and may even get to try their hands at some yummy treats. Bring snack, & water bottle every day. All activities are subject to change. Register by June 18 and July 2 at 5pm.

Engineering for Kids Camps  Ages 4-8  July 13-July 17

Pirates Academy: Students built their very own pirate ship, go fishing for treasure, and work together in Kelvin’s crew to create a delicious treat that’s more precious than gold.
Junior Robotics: Adventure Series: This class is a perfect mixture of fun and learning, using LEGO WeDo Robots. Using LEGO bricks, students build an airplane rescue, a giant escape, and a sailboat storm. They also learn how to program and operate their creations using a laptop computer. Register by 7/9 at 5pm
