First Friday on Gainesville’s Historic Downtown Square is a fun-filled way to kick-off your weekend! Be sure to bring a blanket or chair and find a spot on the Square to listen to the wonderful concerts lined up. First Friday features a showcase of muscial talent from 6pm-10pm. Music consists of a wide variety of acoustic, rock, and jazz to name a few. One of the previous No one wants to cook on Friday! Dine in one of our 10 Downtown Restaurants! Each restaurant provides a relaxed atmosphere. Sit outside and listen to music, see artists and enjoy Gainesville’s finest delicacies! On First Friday only, patrons can walk around with their beverage in the designated downtown area. Just ask for a wristband from the participating downtown restaurants. Bring your friends and family and enjoy Gainesville’s finest after a long, hard week at work! |
